SES Tutoring

The Reunited Tutoring Program

The SES provision of the NCLB enables low-income parents to seek out free tutoring services to expand options for their children who may be struggling in school. We strive to build confidence and proficiency in math, reading, language arts, and science.

Tutoring Service Emphasis: To ensure that students increase their academic achievement in reading, language arts, mathematics.

Tutoring Options Offered: One on One tutoring sessions, small group tutorial sessions, computer-based instruction.

Pre and Post Assessment Tests

These services provide students with extra help in academic subjects such as reading, language arts, mathematics and are generally delivered outside of regular school hours, before or after school, weekends, or during the summer months.


School districts/LEA will pay for the tutoring. Each child will receive an average of 40 to 60 hours of tutoring during the school year depending on the fees charged by the provider the parents request.

 


Approved Providers of Tutoring Services in Missouri

Organizations can apply to the State Department of Elementary and Secondary Education to be on the provider list. After the review process, the list of approved SES/tutoring providers is updated. The list of providers may change from year to year. Enclosed is a list of current SES providers serving our area with a brief summary of their services.
