The Know Joey? Foundation strives to empower, lead and uplift young males in the metropolitan Kansas City area, specifically the 64130 zip code area, through educational advancements and the exploration of entrepreneurial endeavors. The Know Joey? Foundation is to be an outlet for boys to express and discover themselves as they enter into the state of manhood.

Community Assistance Council was founded on the basic principle of “neighbors helping neighbors.” Board members, staff and volunteers all have strong ties to the area and relationships with supporting churches. Our commitment to improving the community has provided a sense of hope to those we assist.

The Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) is the administrative arm of the State Board of Education. It is primarily a service agency that works with educators, legislators, government agencies, community leaders and citizens to maintain a strong public education system. Through its statewide school-improvement activities and regulatory functions, the Department strives to assure that all citizens have access to high-quality public education. DESE does not regulate, monitor or accredit private, parochial or home schools.
