Nutrition

Feeding5000 provides meals and snacks for over 100 youth and adults. We also provide life skill support for youth at the church by financially supporting activities and trips for enrichment.

A student is generally eligible if he/she receives free or reduced-priced lunch and attends a Title 1 school identified by its state as needing improvement as a result of not meeting the Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP) for 3 consecutive years.

Organizations apply to the the State Department of Elementary and Secondary Education to be on the provider list. After the review process, the list of approved SES/tutoring providers is updated. The list of providers may change from year to year. Enclosed is a list of current SES providers serving our area with a brief summary of their services.
